HEROCLIP, a Seattle-based manufacturer of outdoor clip accessories, was purchased by Bellingham, Washington-based GEAR AID.

HEROCLIP is the inventor of a unique and simple gear-holding device, combining a swivel and carabiner. The device, which is manufactured and distributed by Lulabop, Inc. was invented by Mina Yoo in 2014. Since its invention, more than 1 million units have been sold worldwide.

GEAR AID is a maker and distributor of products designed to help with the care and repair of outdoor gear. It also sells other tools and accessories. GEAR AID plans to reintroduce the HEROCLIP swivel carabiner to its network of more than 2,500 retail and distribution partners throughout Asia, Australia, Europe, New Zealand, North America and the United Kingdom. The addition of the trail-ready HEROCLIP strengthens the growing line of trademarked GEAR AID Adventure Tools.
